Reliant on customer and physician sampling via direct mail marketing, Integrative Therapeutics was looking for a more cost-effective solution to continue to expand their pipeline and increase ROI. As one of the nation’s few companies that manufactures and develops its own dietary supplement, Integrative Therapeutics is a GMP (good manufacturing practices) audited facility with very high standards, requiring a marketing push that mirrored that commitment to excellence. That was the challenge for Jason Raisleger, Marketing Automation and CRM Manager at Integrative Therapeutics. Faced with the realities of direct mail marketing and hundreds of sends, Raisleger turned to PFL and its Tactile Marketing Automation (TMA) solution to ease the fulfillment pain, increase ROI, and find more qualified leads. Jason wanted more leads to request a sample, as leads who order a sample are far more likely to purchase. He knew he needed to reduce friction to the sample order form, as well as provide a personalized and timely sample experience. With a sample request process that required manual fulfillment on Integrative Therapeutics’ part, their campaigns – and fulfillment process – needed a major overhaul. Starting with informative newsletters sent via email to prospects, Integrative Therapeutics began to see significant interest in their sample program – about three times what they projected. The newsletter included an order form for a physical sample of their Theracurmin supplement. The moment the form is completed, notification is sent to PFL and the order is fulfilled, including packaging the supplement in custom packaging printed at PFL’s world-class printing center. Lead data housed in Marketo (and that was submitted in the form) populates copy in the printed card that corresponds with the sample, so leads received a kit personalized to them. “We’ve been with PFL for about three years and their Tactile Marketing Automation integration with Marketo – paired with their super simple and reliable communication – makes them our favorite vendor,” Raisleger said.
THE RESULTSThe combination of a personalized sample kit and an automated email follow up upon delivery contributed to the company tripling their monthly sales – a huge win for Raisleger and his team.
