Tactile Marketing Automation for the Entire Organization
Tactile Marketing Automation can be triggered in two ways with PFL: automatically or manually. TMA is the only product that allows marketers to build automatic triggers within their marketing automation platform or CRM, and use intent signals from customers to drive the timing and content of tactile marketing.
Previously, enabling your sales teams to manually send tactile marketing was available only using our SwagIQ product.
Now, SwagIQ has been merged with TMA for Salesforce as a feature we’re calling Experience Enablement.
Your organization can trigger tactile marketing automatically or manually in one product — Tactile Marketing Automation.
Existing TMA customers seeking to equip their sales teams with the ability to manually trigger tactile marketing will have an opportunity to explore these solutions with their Customer Success Managers.
Former SwagIQ customers will be upgraded to a TMA solution that provides the full range of Tactile Marketing Automation capabilities. They will maintain their ability to trigger tactile marketing manually, while receiving the added bonus of having the ability to automate tactile marketing based on customer intent data.
Updates to Tactile Marketing Automation in Salesforce
Improved Performance and Scalability
Send more tactile marketing, faster. TMA can now easily handle enormous order sizes without burning up Salesforce resources like CPU and Heap Size. You’ll no longer hit limitation errors that end transactions or slow down orders. Plus, you’ll enjoy faster processing and a faster in-app experience.
Additional Automated Campaign Association Statuses
We’ve made it easier for you to track statuses and measure tactile marketing’s impact on campaign results in Salesforce. Automated campaign association now includes the statuses of Shipped, Delivered, and Unable to Deliver in addition to the In-Progress status. Campaign member status will automatically update as a direct mail piece goes through its lifecycle.
Address Configuration Customization
You can now create custom address configurations based on any Salesforce field, including custom fields in the Contact, Lead, and Account objects. For example, you can create an address configuration for an email address. This means that a physical address is no longer required for our Preferred Address Capture or eGift solutions.
Any address configuration, including the default configurations, can have additional fields added to it. These additional fields will be included with the order passed to PFL and can be used on the manual send canvas or in campaign creation. If you’re using Experience Enablement, you can dictate the order in which the address configurations should display to your users.
Use native Salesforce address fields:
- Contact Mailing
- Lead Mailing
- Account Shipping
- Account Billing
Create address configurations based on any field, including custom fields, in the following Salesforce objects:
- Contact
- Lead
- Account
Improved e-Send Reporting
See email statuses for Preferred Address Capture and eGift emails.
This package can accept e-send statuses, such as Email Sent, Email Delivered, Email Bounced, and so on. The PFL Pro Services team can configure which statuses you want passed back. These statuses do not support task creation. At this time, they are for visibility and reporting only.
Strengthened Data Security
We now support Salesforce Shield Platform Encryption for specific objects and fields.
Shield Platform Encryption builds on the data encryption options that Salesforce offers out of the box and gives your data a whole new layer of security while preserving critical platform functionality.
It enables you to encrypt sensitive data at rest, so your company can confidently comply with privacy policies, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations for handling private data.

Command Center Updates
New Order History Columns
The Command Center v2 Order History view has new columns that display the most relevant information quickly. Product and Invoice Amount (POD and Shipping Cost) columns are included in this update, making it easy to quickly review important order information.
Advanced Search
Find the information you’re looking for fast with the new Advanced Search feature. Search using an expanded list of criteria including Status, Order Date, Order Number, Product, Recipient, Invoice Amount, Company, and Recipient Address.
Export Functionality
Dig deep into order history with new order details and export functionality. Use the Advanced Search to create an order history range and then export your data into an easy-to-read CSV spreadsheet file.
Single Sign-On
PFL serves some of the biggest brands in the world. Fast-moving marketing teams demand speed and ease of use.
Single Sign-On (SSO) is now available. With it, you can enjoy faster logins into the Command Center and other PFL products, as well as less administrative overhead. We’re excited to make SSO available to all of our customers. If you’d like to configure SSO for your Command Center, reach out to your CSM to schedule the configuration.
