It’s Actually Easy Being ‘Green’—For PFL

Minor poet Ellwood Haines Stokes wrote in his poem “Autumn”:

The tints of imperial purple,
The crimson, the russet, and brown.
And gold like the fringe of the morning.
In beauty had woven a crown. . .

Notice that there is no mention of the color “green” in that description. Green is simply not the first color one associates with autumn.

Unless you’re PFL.

We think that fall is the perfect time to showcase that color—and we have, in our 2023 Fall Lookbook: The New Color of Fall is ‘Green. This is a stellar collection of products you can feel good about—purposeful, responsible, and sustainable direct mail solutions.

What do we mean by “green” in this context? Simply put, we are proud to be a partner that offers you environmentally and socially responsible products. In this Fall Lookbook, we feature brands that give back, are responsibly sourced, have diversified ownership, and make eco-friendly and sustainable products.

A Color of the Times

It is clear to us that we, as responsible consumers, demand more from the products, services, and the organizations we choose to work with and buy from. It’s a sign of the times—and marketing is catching up by demanding more… more sustainable products… more responsible practices… more transparency in manufacturing… more of all things that make a truly impactful difference. At PFL, this all aligns with our core sustainability mission. This fall catalog is that mission in action.

A small but impactful choice we made over a decade ago was to power our manufacturing facility by wind. Then, nearly one year ago we also partnered with PrintReleaf, a like-minded organization the helps us further offset PFL’s manufacturing consumption by planting a tree for every tree consumed by the paper and corrugate products we produce in our facility.

We choose to work with companies with a greater purpose. We are constantly seeking brands with environmentally and socially responsible initiatives that give back and drive change.

We choose to work with companies with a greater purpose. We are constantly seeking brands with environmentally and socially responsible initiatives that give back and drive change. One of our favorite partners, Grounds & Hounds, commits twenty percent of their profits to rescue organizations that feed and find homes for pups in need. This is but one example of the many outstanding vendors we’ve hand selected for our fall Lookbook.

This fall collection is filled with products and brands that echo the PFL mission of sustainability, clean manufacturing, and impactful social responsibility from companies that balance purpose with profit and forward-thinking practices that drive a better world. Products made with materials that are healthier for the planet—recycled post-consumer plastics, renewable bamboo, and more.

PFL is a staunch champion for brands that make a difference with charitable foundations, nonprofit partnerships, volunteer efforts, and much more. Brands that are changing the face of traditional “old” business. It’s an opportunity to support small businesses and brands creating products that put a premium on craftmanship.
